As expected, the newly announced Villa Pizze Fritte drive-thru in DeWitt opened with cars backed up into the street waiting for the fair favorite.

For the first time in its 60 year history, the fried dough stand opened a mobile stand Friday, April 24 in the lot at the corner of Erie Boulevard and Bridge Street.

There were so many cars in line that it caused a traffic jam for miles.

Pizze Fritte Owner, Grazi Zazzara, says, “They were not just buying one bag, they were buying five bags!”
